MyPuck Goalie Rental is a leading goalie rental service supplying goaltenders to adult recreation ice, roller (inline) and ball hockey teams across Canada and the United States. We are currently seeking a college student who is looking for some experience and a chance to enhance their resume by applying their knowledge and skills to the MyPuck team.
Job Description
We are looking for a current or recently graduated student in the Greater Toronto Area with a background in Computer Science or Graphic Design. Duties required part-time and are weekly, bi-weekly or a few times monthly.
- Update and maintain MyPuck’s group of websites
- Design ads and player profile pages
- Perform special projects as needed
- Maintain the design and implementation of products and services that are run online.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Computer Sciences, Graphic Design or other related program at an accredited college or university.
- Must have a knowledge for the game hockey.
- Must know how to run the back-end of a website with a flair for maintaining the look and feel of the MyPuck brand.
Other Info
This position is suited for a college student or recent graduate and as such is currently a non-paying position. The scope and duties while part-time will still give the incumbent the knowledge and skills needed to get an overall understanding of the ongoings of a website.

GOALIES
If you’re a goalie and you want to join our team we’d love to hear from you. We have goalies across Canada and the USA and we’re always growing.
We are a different kind of rental service and we offer a different but more lucrative way of playing games and making money. We have 2 up-front payment options where we charge a monthly fee that takes care of all of the tools we provide to you. We found it can make more economical sense for the goalie and us to do it this way. It also means you never have to mentally put aside a portion of each game knowing it has to be paid for at the end of the month. Unlike the competition we work to market you to the hockey community so that you can focus on playing the game. That’s why we will give you things like business cards, a jersey and many online tools to reach teams who are passively and actively looking for a goalie. If you want to sign up just let us know what package you’d like.
Platinum (Sales Agent) – $30/month
We’ve partnered up with Blakbak and PHN to provide expert, professional and one-on-one sales support to the teams we play with. This is your best opportunity to make extra cash at the rink by selling products and services on behalf of our partners. This program costs the goalie a monthly flat fee of $30. The upside is MyPuck doesn’t charge the goalie for games played meaning the goalie takes home all the money earned per game. The goalie then has the opportunity to earn more money by selling Blakbak gear and PHN team and individual registrations. So you just want to play hockey but you want as many games as possible? Here’s the best option for you to do just that. With our marketing tools we can help you play a ton of games each week. MyPuck charges a monthly fee of $20 and the goalie keeps everything earned from the games he plays. If a game is passed on by the Platinum group then it will be distributed to this group. $15 Pay-Per-Game Package
This is our pay-per-game package. You love to play but you want to be able to pick and choose when and where because you happen to have a life outside of hockey. How this package works is any game that cannot be fulfilled by a goalie in the first two groups will be filled through this group. You will be part of a mass email/text group and the game will be filled on a first response basis. $15 will charged to the goalie on a per game basis.
